David Preston Artist Studio – NEWS – Events
David Preston Artist’s Studio is situated in the heart of Uki Village in the Tweed Valley, Northern NSW. The studio features recent and past works of the artist, including paintings and lino cut prints.
David’s studio will be next open on Sunday 19th November, Buttery Bazaar Market Day in Uki (1476 Kyogle Rd Uki, NSW)
The studio is open for each Buttery Bazaar market; (the 3rd Sunday of every month)
Brett Whiteley Film Screening
A special screening of the recently released film WHITELEY -(M/94min/documentary), a never before seen journey into the legacy of one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, screened on Sunday 5th of November at the Regent Cinema Murwillumbah
David Preston, who shared a friendship and unique collaboration with Brett Whiteley gave an introductory talk before the screening. There was a full house.
This event was presented in conjunction with the exhibition Brett Whiteley: other places (somewhere else) on display at Tweed Regional Gallery, 29 September – 3 December 2017. An Art Gallery of New South Wales and Brett Whiteley Studio touring exhibition developed in partnership with Cairns Regional Gallery.
